Do Support at Home providers need to publish prices on their website?

What Support at Home means for a home care provider's website: which prices to publish, where, how often to review them, and how to make the page easy for families.

Yes. Since Support at Home started on 1 November 2025, providers must publish their common prices on their own website, under Rule 155-80 of the aged care rules.

What to publish

The price you most often charge for each service you deliver, or have delivered in the last 12 months. The Department's guidance asks for prices across all your service hours, including standard hours, non-standard hours, weekends and public holidays.

Where else prices go

Your website is one of three places. You also report prices to the Department through the My Aged Care Service and Support Portal so they appear on My Aged Care, and each client's service agreement must list the prices for their services. A PDF or a link to your website does not count as your My Aged Care report.

How often to update

Review your published prices at least every two months, and report changes within 30 days.

Why it matters

The Commission has said it will prioritise providers who have not reported their pricing. For families, a clear prices page is often what decides who they call.

What a good prices page looks like

One page, linked from your main menu and your Support at Home page, with a simple table by service and time of day, a line on what is and is not included, the date it was last reviewed, and a phone number. Build it so your own team can update it in minutes when prices change.

Want a second opinion?

Send us your website and we will tell you the three things we would fix first, including your prices page. It is free and there is nothing to prepare.

This is general information, not legal advice. Check the current requirements with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission and health.gov.au.
