Turned a nurse-built platform into something health networks could actually buy

Bettermade created Haloflo’s brand, design system, website and event booth so providers can instantly see how its operations platform automates scheduling, claiming and compliance for home care and community nursing teams.

About the project

The founders needed more than a website; they needed a brand that made Haloflo feel like infrastructure for community nursing, not just another SaaS tool. Bettermade was engaged to build that brand end‑to‑end: from logo and visual language through to a full design system, marketing site and event booth presence.

Scope included:

  • New logo and core visual identity.

  • Brand guidelines covering typography, colour, layout, imagery and voice.

  • A reusable design system across web and marketing materials.

  • Complete website design (structure, UX and UI)

  • Event booth design for conferences targeting community nursing providers.

Challanges

Haloflo needed to speak simultaneously to nurses, operators and leadership teams, all with different mental models and priorities. Visually, the brand had to balance “clinical trust” and “tech performance”: grounded in care and compliance, but modern and fast enough to feel like real operational infrastructure, not a generic health app.

We focused on:

  • Making the brand feel nurse‑native and operator‑credible, not “Silicon Valley SaaS air‑cover”.

  • Ensuring every touchpoint—logo, site, booth—communicated outcomes (time back, ratios, compliance) rather than vague innovation.

  • Designing a system that could scale as new workflows, metrics and stories were added.

What we delivered

Logo and visual identity

Bettermade designed a new Haloflo logo and wordmark built around clarity, legibility and a subtle sense of flow, aligning with the core idea of “operations that flow, not fight.” The visual language uses confident, clinical‑friendly colours and structured grid‑based layouts, so complex operational detail can be presented clearly in product UI, marketing and event materials.

Brand guidelines and design system

A full set of brand guidelines documents how Haloflo shows up: typography, colour palette, spacing, iconography, illustration style and imagery for nurses, clients and operations teams. On top of that, a modular design system was created for web and product‑adjacent marketing components—brochures, tote bags, t-shirts, workflow tiles and testimonials—so future pages and campaigns stay consistent.

Website design and copy

Bettermade designed and wrote the haloflo.care site, grounding the hero in “The operations platform built for community nursing” and backing it up with real stats and workflows. Homepage, Product, four workflow pages, About, Partner with us and Contact are all structured around tangible outcomes: multi‑region scheduling in under a second, unified client profiles, staff management that prevents burnout, analytics that show ratios and revenue leakage in real time.

Event booth design

To support growth and sales at industry events, Bettermade translated the digital system into a physical booth: panels, messaging, visual hierarchy and screens that showcase the platform in a way nurses and operators can understand at a glance. The booth uses the same visual system—colour, typography, component structure—so the brand feels consistent whether someone discovers Haloflo online, in a deck, or walking past at a conference.

Outcomes

Haloflo now has a cohesive brand ecosystem: logo, guidelines, design system, website and event presence all telling the same story about returning time to nurses and control to operators.

For prospects, that means Haloflo shows up as a serious, nurse‑built operations platform with clear outcomes and trustworthy infrastructure, not just another tool in the stack.
